The Foundation values every contribution to our mission. To protect our donors' privacy and their special bond with Indbharat, we follow these policies:

To ensure that philanthropy earns the respect and trust of the public, and that donors and potential donors can have complete confidence in the nonprofit organizations and causes they are invited to support, we commit to the following:

To be informed of the foundation's mission, of the way the foundation intends to use donated resources, and of its capacity to use donations effectively for their intended purposes Donations received will be utilized to cover the expenses of the organization's relief feeding operations. Any surplus funds remaining after a relief service will be allocated to feeding children.

  • To be aware of the members of the foundation's governing board and to anticipate that the board will make responsible and informed decisions in fulfilling its duties.
  • To obtain the foundation's latest financial reports.
  • To ensure that their donation details are treated with respect and kept confidential, in accordance with legal requirements.
  • To have confidence that their donation information is managed with respect and kept confidential as permitted by law.
  • To anticipate that all interactions between the foundation's representatives and the donor will be conducted professionally.
  • To be informed whether those seeking donations are volunteers, employees of the organization or hired solicitors.
  • To have the option to have their names removed from any mailing lists that the foundation may plan to share.
  • To feel encouraged to ask questions when making a donation and to receive timely, honest, and straightforward responses.

Donation refund policy

Once a donation or payment is received by Indbharat Global Foundation, we do not entertain any requests for cancellation or refund. We kindly ask all contributors to ensure their decision before making any transaction, as all payments are considered final.

Worst-case scenario -

Indbharat adheres to a dependable refund policy to ensure our donors feel valued in their partnership with us. We prioritize processing donations in accordance with the mandates specified by our donors on both offline and online forms. However, in the unlikely event of an erroneous deduction, or if a donor wishes to cancel or adjust their donation, Indbharat Global foundation will respond within 7 working days from the date the complaint is received. The promptness of the refund for any incorrect deduction will depend on the type of card used for the transaction. To initiate a refund, we require proof of the erroneous deduction and a written request from the donor within two days of the donation.

  • In such cases, if a receipt has already been issued, the donor must return the original receipt to our official address.
  • Once a tax exemption certificate has been issued, a refund cannot be processed.

Once a warranty has been activated, a replacement cannot be issued.

*Overseas transactions will need additional processing time for refunds.

*Once the refund is approved, please allow up to 15 days for the funds to be credited back to your original account.

This information may encompass the contributor's name, donation amount, address, phone number, comments, email address, and any additional personal details shared with us (“Contributor Data”). For donations made by check, Contributor Data also includes the information printed on the check.

We may enhance the Donor Data with available information to refine our fundraising strategies. Donors will have the option to publicly acknowledge their contributions unless they choose to remain anonymous during the online donation process.
